i am haunted by it
staring at me
telling me it's
time to wake
time to cook
time to clean
time to work
time to quit
time to pick up
time to sleep
then get up
and do it all again
i want to step out of the
circle of time
live in and make the most of
every moment
an act
of worship
Kingdom living
Lord God
with You there are no
constraints of time
be the Alpha and Omega
of my day
my week
my existence

Angie, I hear your longing, your longing for the freedom of unhindered worship! ~Suz.

I quit wearing a watch this year and it has been the best thing ever. I no longer count the minutes of my day. I instead count my blessings and life is so much sweeter. Now I do have an alarm clock to get me up in the morning for work but that is about the only time I look at it. I do things when they feel right and it is wonderful.
Have a Blessed day,
Greg
What a wonderful thought. May we all be able to live that way. Have a great day. connie from Texas
Beautiful! One day time will be no more :) Until then, may we pray for the Lord to redeem the time in our lives. Amen, my friend!
How beautiful, did you write that? I don't own a clock in my room anymore and time is going by ever so quickly!
I look forward to another poem :)
Blessings!

Martha, I penned during a particularly busy day.
Amen, Susan & Suz!
Greg, what a freeing thought! At this point, it's not practical to go without a watch or a clock since we have commitments during the day for which we'd be late, but it sure sounds nice.
Correction on previous comment..."penned that poem"
So much truth~~ There are no constraints of time with the Lord ~~ all time exsists in Him! I love the verse in Psalms that says...Order my steps in your Way, Oh Lord...In YOUR time I will walk.

Oh Angie, I totally FEEL this writing! I thank you for reminding me to rest in His perfect timing, to trust in His plans for me.
Wonderful!
In Him we live and move and have our being.
Hello, I came here from my Mother in-laws blog, Mrs.Connie.
I just wanted to say how much I enjoyed this post.
Time is such a gift to us here on this Earth...may we learn to use it wisely for His purposes! Amen.
Just beautiful Angie! As I read it I kept thinking, "Oh, me too!" :) Thanks for sharing it!
Yes, friend... yes.
