getting to know me

Congratulations to the winners of the Proverbs 31 writing contest.

I was tagged by As We Sail to share seven things you don't know about me...

1. I started dancing at the age of three after having to wear leg braces. Those were quickly shed and I continued dancing ballet, tap, and jazz through high school. I occassionally twirl around even today.

2. I taught Special Ed for 5 years after volunteering in a classroom and falling in love with kids who had special needs. I am currently a part-time private teacher.

3. During my college years I suffered with horrible panic attacks after my dad's first open heart surgery. My Deliverer was standing by though and once I came to know Jesus, I was healed by His Word.

4. I am fascinated with the End Times and watching prophecies being fulfilled. I believe that we may truly be the generation that doesn't taste death and instead experiences the rapture. "SHA-ALU SHALOM YIRUSHALAYIM".

5. I am on target for reading the Bible through in 90 days. I have found the schedule to be very doable inspite of my busy days.

6. I grew up bass fishing with my dad and was known as the "Spinner Bait Queen". I know all the ins and outs of being on the lake, launching and loading a boat, and how to clean a fish.

7. I am intimately acquainted with the dynamics of the golf swing from hubby playing professional golf. I also know more than I ever thought I'd learn about aerodynamics, weather, and helicopters from him being a pilot.

There you go, more about me than you maybe wanted to know. Watch out, you might get tagged...

I'm so glad you shared! I used to dance too. My beloved is a fly-fisherman. I've entertained a panic-attack or two in my time. Applaud your commitment to 90 days. Thankful to get to know you!

Hey Angie! Thank you for sharing a little more about yourself here. It is always fun to read. I taught preschool, now work in the guidance area. Can't say that I've fished but I am married to a vocational golfer, and I think you know that I suffered from panic attacks for years. (Thank you Lord for deliverance from the abudance of fear(s) that would trigger them.) But mostly, I love to share the mutual love of Christ with you sister! In the end, that is the most important thing I share with you! Have a great week.

Hello, thanks for stopping by. I finally figured out you were Olivia's mom. lol

And, I do so enjoy talking as if I was in the 1800's. I even do a column (based off of Little Woman's pickwick society) in a magazine. lol I've had practice.

Blessings!

I am a slow reader so I am way behind. I am still on Genesis but I am also reading slow and trying to absorb it. I wouldn't say I was fascinated by the signs of the end times as much as frightened. Nice to know some things about you.
